If you don't know what SEMA is it stands for Specialty Equipment Market Association. The SEMA show in Las Vegas happens every fall. Aftermarket parts manufacturers and suppliers come together to show off the latest and greatest but it is not just aftermarket parts. There are tool companies, electronic companies, tire manufacturers and pretty much anything else that has to do with cars. Speaking of cars you can find anything at SEMA. Actually I should not say you as the SEMA show is not open to the public. It is only for members, retailers and automotive professionals. But back to the cars. You will find the latest, the greatest the wildest and some of the most beautiful classics as well. The displays are amazing but of course we all really go to see the girls. There is so much to see at SEMA that it takes the entire Las Vegas Convention center including the parking lots and the show lasts four days. The APEX show runs at the Sands convention center the same time as SEMA (except it is three days). The APEX show does not allow cameras so we do not have any pictures from that show. They also don't have the girls or the wild cars so no big deal. The APEX show is a more subdued and more serious than the SEMA show. You will find suppliers and manufacturers from around the world.
